This is a full-time, confidential, exempt, and benefitted position. The Human Resources Analyst, along with the human resources director and human resources supervisor, oversees the administration of employee benefits and the facilitation of state and federal protected leaves such as Oregon Family Leave (OFLA), Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), and Paid Leave Oregon (PLO). This role also involves creating, implementing, and maintaining staff appreciation, engagement, and wellness programs. The analyst organizes and administers the district’s comprehensive human resource programs, including benefits, state and federal leaves, total rewards, engagement, and wellness initiatives, while providing support to the human resources director and supervisor. Work is performed under the supervision of the human resources supervisor, with reviews based on attained results and accomplishment of objectives. The position exercises independent judgment and discretion, making authoritative choices without immediate supervision. While there are no direct supervisory responsibilities, the analyst serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department and committees, and may plan, assign, delegate, or supervise the work of others for special projects. The role also assists with other Human Resources Department projects as assigned.
