Oversees, along with the human resources director and human resources supervisor, the administration of employee benefits, facilitation of state and federal protected leaves such as Oregon Family Leave (OFLA), Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) and Paid Leave Oregon (PLO); creates, implements, and maintains staff appreciation, engagement and wellness programs. The human resources analyst organizes and administers the district’s comprehensive human resource programs, including benefits, state and federal leaves, total rewards, engagement and wellness initiatives, and provides support to the human resources director and human resources supervisor. Work is performed under the supervision of the human resources supervisor who reviews work primarily based on results attained and on the accomplishment of outlined objectives and goals. The human resources analyst exercises independent judgment and discretion to make authoritative choices without immediate supervision. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department and committees and may plan, assign, delegate, or supervise the work of others for special projects. Assists with other Human Resources Department projects as assigned.
