About The Position

The HR Administrator supports day-to-day HR operations and helps deliver a positive employee experience. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience
  • Working knowledge of HR principles and employment standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is an asset
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support employee file audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards
  • Track and update employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers) in HRIS systems
  • Coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining records
  • Monitor and follow up on required employee documentation (e.g., certifications, SIN numbers, work permits)
  • Ensure compliance with document retention policies and audit requirements
  • Generate regular and ad hoc HR reports for leadership as needed
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programs
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure alignment on HR processes and employee needs
  • Other duties as assigned.
