Human Resource Services Administrative Assistant

•$18 - $21•Onsite

About The Position

The Human Resource Services Administrative Assistant is the primary front-desk contact for employees, applicants, visitors, and callers. The role answers and directs calls, manages office visitors, assists employees with basic Paycor self-service navigation, prepares routine office materials, issues authorized identification badges, and supports fingerprint enrollment for timeclock use. Because the position operates in an office where sensitive personnel matters are discussed and documented, confidentiality, discretion, careful identity verification, and prompt referral of matters outside assigned authority are essential. The position provides reception and customer service, basic employee self-service and access support, and administrative assistance. It handles employee, applicant, payroll, benefits, medical, leave, and personnel-related information with appropriate confidentiality. It also supports scheduling, meeting preparation, and other Human Resource Services projects as assigned. The role requires regular, reliable attendance and in-person front-desk coverage during assigned County business hours. Specific work hours and schedule adjustments are established by the department based on operational needs. Work is performed primarily in an indoor, public-facing administrative office with frequent interruptions and regular contact with employees, applicants, and visitors. Essential functions are performed with or without reasonable accommodation, consistent with applicable law. This position does not supervise employees and has no independent hiring, disciplinary, payroll, benefits, or personnel decision-making authority.
