This role is responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll. The manager will implement the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training. They will also ensure compliance with company HR policies, maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of HR documents, and assist in the implementation and compliance of HR systems. The manager will identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns, supervise and develop associates and leaders, and manage and coordinate training for Distribution and/or Transportation associates. This includes identifying training needs, monitoring completion, presenting training courses, and managing schedules and deadlines. The role involves building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning. The manager will also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and foster a culture of belonging. They will attract and retain talent, empower and develop associates, and recognize contributions.
