About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist supports all core HR functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for employee relations, onboarding, attendance tracking, payroll support, and leave administration, while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation, including scheduling and processing onboarding documentation
  • Manage Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) and maintain compliance with federal requirements
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel files
  • Track and manage employee attendance, prepare attendance counseling reports, and support corrective action processes
  • Assist with payroll-related activities, including attendance and timekeeping records
  • Support internal transfers, job postings, and job evaluations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
  • Conduct training sessions for hourly and salaried employees
  • Support continuous improvement of training and onboarding programs
  • Administer FMLA and other leave programs, including documentation and communication with employees
  • Support company events and employee engagement activities
  • Track and manage uniform orders and related needs
  • Promote and uphold 5S and workplace organization standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by HR leadership
