About The Position

The Human Resource Generalist plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the employee lifecycle within the organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. This position is responsible for administering benefits, managing employee relations, and supporting performance management processes to foster a productive and positive work environment. The HR Generalist will conduct job analyses and assist in developing compensation programs that align with organizational goals and market standards. Additionally, this role involves maintaining accurate personnel records and facilitating disciplinary procedures when necessary to uphold workplace standards. Ultimately, the HR Generalist contributes to building a fair, inclusive, and efficient workplace that supports both employee satisfaction and organizational success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the United States.
  • Experience with benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in maintaining personnel records and managing performance review processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with affirmative action plan development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-site organizational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
  • Administer benefits programs including enrollment, changes, and communication to employees.
  • Conduct job analyses and assist in developing and maintaining compensation and performance management programs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records in compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Support disciplinary procedures by documenting incidents, conducting investigations, and ensuring consistent application of policies.
  • Coordinate and participate in performance review processes, providing training and resources to managers and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with affirmative action plans and equal employment opportunity regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify HR needs and implement effective solutions.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
