About The Position

This position supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The role provides leadership and cultivates effective working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The position is scheduled Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to five days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

• Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Package Handlers and hold workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance.
• Ensure employees comply with safety policies and procedures and applicable department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implement employee personal development plans as required.
• Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
