About The Position

This position supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The role provides effective leadership and cultivates working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.

The position ensures employees follow applicable safety policies and procedures and operate in compliance with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements. It manages department resources to support maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency, and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.

The supervisor implements personal development plans and ensures department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching. The role is permanent and part-time.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
