About The Position

On-the-job hazards are of significance for both the short- and long-term health and well-being of workers and, in some cases, their families. This course examines both historical and contemporary hazards to health and well-being in the workplace, as well as efforts made to protect workers through health and safety legislation.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • CV (Maximum of 10 pages, with 12-point font and 2.54 cm margins).
  • Candidate Application Form (CAF) submitted.
  • On the CAF, applicants must clearly outline only those qualifications which are relevant for each course for which they have applied and articulate how their work and academic experience enhances their ability to teach each course.
  • Verification of highest degree (highly recommended to include with application).

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant professional experience.
  • Previous university teaching experience.
  • Refereed publications in the area.

Responsibilities

  • Teach HS211 BR: Occupational Health and Safety course.
  • Examine historical and contemporary hazards to health and well-being in the workplace.
