About The Position

Orion is seeking a motivated and experienced Safety Coordinator to support marine construction operations throughout its Pacific Region. The role provides field and administrative safety support to help ensure compliance with company safety policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. It supports programs for employee safety, accident and incident prevention, safe work practices, training, OSHA compliance, workers’ compensation, field inspections, emergency response, risk management, fire protection, and environmental and pollution prevention. The position requires regular travel to active marine construction projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Washington and surrounding areas, with potential assignments in Hawaii and the South Pacific. The successful candidate must be comfortable working at waterfront facilities, on barges and vessels, and at remote project locations. This is a field-oriented role, not a remote-only opportunity, and requires collaboration with project management, field supervision, craft personnel, and corporate safety leadership. The role also requires a commitment to employee safety and compliance, including promoting Orion’s safety culture, exercising stop-work authority when warranted, reporting unsafe conditions and incidents, participating in training and continuous improvement, and protecting confidential company information. Orion offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. The stated salary range is $95,000–$110,000.
