About The Position

Orion is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Supervisor to support marine construction and heavy civil operations in the Pacific Region. The position is based at Orion’s Vancouver, Washington office and requires regular travel to active construction projects throughout Washington, Oregon, and other Pacific Northwest locations. The role covers employee safety, accident and incident prevention, safe work practices, training, OSHA compliance, workers’ compensation, inspections and audits, emergency response, risk management, fire protection, pollution prevention, and administration of company safety policies and procedures. The successful candidate works closely with project managers, superintendents, foremen, craft personnel, and regional safety leadership to identify hazards, evaluate risks, implement corrective actions, and promote a proactive safety culture across multiple projects. The position requires an understanding of marine construction activities, including pile driving, dredging, marine foundations, waterfront structures, and operations performed from barges and other marine equipment. The incumbent is expected to support Orion’s values of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Teamwork, and Integrity.
