The Role The HRIS Technical Analyst supports and enhances our global Workday platform. This role will play a critical part in maintaining system integrity, configuring integrations, and supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits operations across a complex, international professional services environment spanning 30 countries. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Workday, particularly in integrations, reporting, and core HCM functionality, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, global organization. This role will help advance the use of Generative AI and automation to improve data integrity and support processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong familiarity (3 to 5 years) with Workday HCM platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits, including configuration and integration support.
  • Experience with Workday Payroll integrations (PECI, PICOF etc.).
  • Experience supporting Workday Absence Management.
  • Proven experience with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and calculated fields.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday’s security tools and architecture.
  • Experience troubleshooting integration issues and data flows.
  • Familiarity with or interest in applying Generative AI and automation in HRIS environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholder.
  • Technical expertise in HRIS systems and integrations.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a global, matrixed organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Workday Time Tracking.
  • Experience with additional Workday products such as Prism, Learning, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, and Talent Management.
  • Exposure to global HRIS environments supporting multiple countries.
  • Experience working within a professional services organization.
  • Familiarity with Ceridian Payroll systems.
  • Experience working with AI tools, automation platforms, or scripting for process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support and configuration for the Workday HCM platform.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations, including Studio-based integrations.
  • Support and configure Workday Benefits, Payroll integrations, Absence Management, and related modules.
  • Participate in rotational support of HRIS and payroll integration mailboxes, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration errors, data issues, and system defects.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across Workday processes and integrations.
  • Support global HRIS initiatives, system enhancements, and releases.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and integration designs.
  • Assist in testing activities including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to optimize system functionality.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and support Ceridian Payroll as part of the broader payroll ecosystem.
  • Identify, design, and implement Generative AI and AI agent solutions to improve HRIS operations, with a focus on automating data integrity validation between Workday and payroll systems and proactively identifying discrepancies across integrations.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools to analyze, triage, and automate responses within HRIS support mailbox, improving response times, reducing manual effort, and identifying recurring issues for automation.
