About The Position

This is a full-time remote role for an HR Specialist at a growing U.S.-based company. The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting and managing key human resources processes, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration. This role will work closely with leadership and employees to ensure a positive employee experience, maintain compliance with company policies, and support the organization’s people and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • More than 2 years of experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or in a similar human resources role
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and people management processes
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality
  • Proven ability to manage multiple HR processes and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and performance management
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and other HR-related tools
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support day-to-day HR operations and employee-related processes
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring processes
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, documentation, and HR systems
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, procedures, and workplace-related questions
  • Support employee relations initiatives and assist with resolving workplace concerns and conflicts
  • Coordinate and monitor performance management and employee development processes
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and company initiatives
  • Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, retention, attendance, hiring activity, and employee performance
  • Assist leadership with workforce planning and other people-related initiatives
  • Help identify opportunities to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience
  • Ensure HR processes are handled consistently, accurately, and confidentially
  • Stay informed about relevant HR practices and employment regulations to support compliance
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture
  • Support other HR projects and initiatives as needed
