About The Position

Crewe Advisors is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role will support the Director of Finance and Operations with human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and benefits administration. The role is on-site in their Salt Lake City, UT office, with standard office hours of Monday – Thursday: 8am–5pm and Friday: 8am–2pm. There is a possibility of other required hours based on flexing business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately 1–3 years of HR experience.
  • Familiarity with an HRIS platform; BambooHR experience preferred but not required.
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated discretion handling confidential personnel data.
  • Strong, proactive oral and written communication skills.
  • Embrace process-driven work, with the ability to follow established workflows, document procedures, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to a regulated industry (financial services or similar) is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including new-hire paperwork, I-9 verification, state new-hire registration filings, scheduling, HRIS administration, and system setup in BambooHR.
  • Effectively manage periods of high onboarding activity, coordinating multiple training, orientation, and employee integration processes simultaneously.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee records in BambooHR, including rollout and e-signature tracking of Employment Agreements, Employee Handbook, Policies & Procedures, Emergency Action Plan, and Social Media Policy.
  • Drive benefits administration: open enrollment logistics, COBRA notices, and day-to-day vendor coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to create, maintain and improve a positive and feedback driven employee experience.
  • Serve as a culture champion by modeling company values, building strong relationships, and contributing to an inclusive, people-first workplace environment.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of employee data and any material nonpublic information (MNPI) encountered incidentally.
  • Support additional HR initiatives and responsibilities as assigned to meet evolving business and organizational needs.
