About The Position

This role facilitates the recruitment, screening, interviewing, and hiring processes for the Agency. It involves collecting and interpreting employment and reference records, and partnering with the Payroll Specialist to manage time-sensitive benefits and payroll information. The HR Specialist also collaborates with Human Resource staff to conduct employee orientation programs, which may include onboarding, benefits, and payroll. A key responsibility is the accurate, organized filing and safeguarding of hiring and personnel records, alongside active participation in the HR team to promote agency initiatives and maintain legally compliant HR processes. The role also requires safely operating motor vehicles for company business.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate recruitment, screening, interviewing and hiring processes for the Agency.
  • Collection and Interpretation of transcript, employment and reference records.
  • Partner with the Payroll Specialist to accurately collect time sensitive benefits and payroll information.
  • Partner with Human Resource staff to conduct employee orientation programs. Programs may include orientation for new hires, onboarding, benefits and payroll.
  • Responsible for the accurate, organized filing, and safeguarding of hiring and personnel records.
  • Active participation in the HR team to promote agency initiatives.
  • Maintenance of ongoing agency and legally compliant personnel/HR processes.
  • Safely operate motor vehicles for company business in accordance with all applicable laws, company policies, and insurance eligibility requirements.
