About The Position

The Hiring Specialist is responsible for assisting in Wintrust recruiting and Talent Acquisition methods and strategies across Mortgage and Investment lines of business. They are responsible for supporting hiring managers in the mortgage and investment companies to fill open positions and meet company's workforce needs and goals. This role oversees the numerous and often complex hiring stages in Workday and DocuSign from offer through onboarding.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years executive admin, contracts/proposals or paralegal experience required.
  • H.S or GED required
  • Knowledge of general hiring and offer processes, systems and documentation
  • Strong written and oral communication as this position has visibility and works directly with executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • HR experience not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Hiring Process
  • Communicate with high level executive hiring managers and candidates to keep them apprised of hiring and offer process and progress.
  • Communicate, document and facilitate the offer process for, but not limited to, mortgage loan originators and wealth management professionals.
  • Coordinate, communicate and lead our internal hiring process for mortgage and investments job openings
  • Screen resumes, applications and other based on essential criteria set by the Mortgage and Investment Executive Leadership teams
  • Send and communicate job offer letters and document terms with both hiring managers and potential new hires
  • Adhere to state and federal hiring laws, rules and regulations
  • Transformational Change
  • Accountable for driving transformational change and operational excellence to limit errors
  • Fully understand Workday capabilities to continue to make process improvement recommendations
