About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is seeking HR Representatives to provide customer service and counsel to business leaders at distribution centers and regional offices across the country. The role supports business and people-related priorities in a fast-paced environment and contributes to creating a positive workplace for associates. Distribution centers may be freestanding or located on customer sites, where DHL works as part of the customer’s team. The HR Representative implements HR strategies aligned with business strategy and supports employee relations, engagement, compliance, staffing, associate programs, performance management, and HR data administration. The role also advises associates and managers, conducts investigations as needed, and supports site climate and culture initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four years of experience.

Nice To Haves

Some knowledge of HR.
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Experience with conflict resolution.
Experience with investigations.
Experience with data analytics.

Responsibilities

Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Support employee relations and engagement.
Serve as an advocate and counsel to hourly and exempt associates.
Drive initiatives and activities in support of site climate and culture.
Conduct internal investigations as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and laws related to Human Resources activities.
Administer audit activities to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Train management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment.
Provide feedback and coaching to managers, actively listen, and ask clarifying questions about associates.
Assist with staffing, succession planning, and associate programs and processes.
Understand compensation and benefits systems, processes, and employee communications.
Administer the annual EOS process and related action-planning activities.
Enter and maintain data in the HRMS system.
Administer the performance management process.
