About The Position

The HR Representative I supports HR operations and employee training initiatives at the St. Clair and Tryon Peak Plants, including recruiting, onboarding, and training processes. The role also provides office support to the St. Clair Plant. Relocation is not offered for this position.

Requirements

High school diploma plus three years of relevant experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to quickly learn and take ownership of work.

Responsibilities

Assist with hourly recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and pre-employment processes.
Support new-hire onboarding, including scheduling and conducting orientation, plant tours, and documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Support employee relations activities and engagement initiatives in the absence of the HR Manager.
Maintain plant training records through SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Power BI.
Organize employee engagement programs and plant-wide communication efforts.
Support process improvement efforts by maintaining work instructions, job aids, and electronic files.
Support HR- and safety-related rules and guidelines as appropriate.
Answer incoming calls, manage front-desk visitor check-in, and maintain the gate entrance for shipping and receiving.
Collaborate with the plant purchasing representative on purchasing and invoicing supplies, materials, or tool orders.
Follow the invoice approval process and enter invoices for payment.
Direct activities of service providers, including uniform, vending, janitorial, office tools, contingent staffing agencies, and other providers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
