About The Position

CLS is seeking an experienced HR professional for a temporary assignment to align HR strategy, support key projects, and drive engagement. The role will use data-driven insights to enhance employee experience and business outcomes, balancing strategic consultation with operational HR responsibilities in partnership with stakeholders and HR leadership.

Requirements

  • 3-8+ years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 2-3 years acting as a Business Partner, Employee Relations Specialist, HR Project Specialist or Manager
  • Good knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience managing HR projects, programs or strategic initiatives
  • Knowledge of project management methods and tools
  • Experience supporting change management and process improvement initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and HR reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently, act with discretion, and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead HR projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and business objectives are met.
  • Develop project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across HR, Technology, Finance, Risk, and business teams.
  • Serve as a resource to address workplace concerns with discretion and fairness, leveraging HR policies, compliance practices, and employment law considerations.
  • Promote and reinforce company values, culture, and employee engagement.
  • Guide managers through performance management cycles, providing coaching on feedback, goal setting, and development plans.
  • Utilize HR systems, data management, and reporting for workforce insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Document and maintain HR procedures, process maps, and standard operating practices.
  • Analyze workforce and project-related data to identify trends, measure success, and support decision-making.
  • Develop reports and/or presentations for HR leadership and key stakeholders.
