About The Position

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team across a variety of functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and training and development. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • 2 years’ administrative experience required.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to follow direction and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or higher degree in related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in human resources preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary customer service contact for the Human Resources and Training departments, responding to employee, manager, and applicant inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the administration of human resources programs, policies, and procedures for all employees.
  • Maintain, organize, and manage personnel records and files in accordance with established guidelines and retention requirements.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process by: Processing pre-employment and onboarding documentation, Submitting IT access and equipment requests, Supporting the E-Verify process, Ensuring completed new hire documentation is accurately routed to appropriate departments.
  • Process and maintain employee information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including new hires, employee status changes, and updates to personal information.
  • Coordinate training room scheduling and logistics for the Training Department.
  • Manage training rosters and distribute training-related communications, including registration confirmations, reminders, and attendance follow-up notifications.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including word processing, copying, filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with agency’s policies and procedures.
  • Strictly follow all agency Performance Standards.
