INNIO is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to join our growing HR team. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is eager to learn the operational side of Human Resources. Working closely with experienced HR professionals, you'll play a key role in supporting employee lifecycle processes, maintaining HR data integrity, and delivering exceptional service to employees and managers across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in HR operations, HR administration, shared services, or a related customer-focused role.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems and HR processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, or professional experience supporting HR functions.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday or similar systems.
  • Experience supporting HR projects, reporting, or process documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Process employee lifecycle transactions including hires, onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems.
  • Prepare, review, and process HR documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support onboarding and employee administration activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees and managers while escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Generate recurring HR reports, perform data audits, and support compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with HR projects, process improvements, system implementations, and operational initiatives.
  • Support payroll, benefits, and other HR operations activities as assigned.
  • Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance service delivery.
