About The Position

Little League International in South Williamsport, PA is looking to hire a full-time HR Operations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role supports the day-to-day administration and operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring employees and managers receive accurate, timely, and professional HR support throughout the employee lifecycle. The position involves administering employee changes, maintaining accurate records, preparing HR documentation, processing HR system transactions, and assisting with audits. A key focus will be on payroll and benefits administration, including processing payroll, assisting with audits, supporting tax processes, administering benefit enrollments, answering benefit questions, and coordinating leave programs. Additionally, the role involves working with HR technology systems to maintain employee information, conduct audits, generate reports, and support system upgrades. The HR Operations Specialist ensures HR data is accurate, confidential, and compliant.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • 1 - 3 years of Human Resources, payroll, benefits, HR operations, or administrative experience.
  • Experience working with HRIS and / or payroll systems required.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, payroll administration, and benefits administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive employee and organizational information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow through on responsibilities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee changes such as hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and separations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
