HR OPERATIONS MANAGER

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong HRIS skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Integrity, sound judgment, and a deep respect for confidentiality
Nice To Haves
- HR operations and HRIS experience is a plus
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily workflow and operations of a dedicated, collaborative HR team
- Serve as a trusted partner to department heads and managers on workforce needs, policies, and HR matters
- Manage and approve staff evaluations and assessments
- Partner with the Vice President, Human Resources to bring our people and talent strategy to life
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and a warm welcome for every new team member
- Guide performance management and employee relations, escalating sensitive matters to the Vice President, Human Resources
- Review performance and conduct concerns and recommend appropriate next steps, including separations, to the Vice President, Human Resources
- Be in charge of our HRIS, from system administration and data integrity to reporting and user support
- Train staff on management and supervisory programs that help our leaders grow
- Track HR metrics, share insights, and champion ideas that make our processes better
- Help keep our practices compliant with employment laws, policies, and recordkeeping requirements
