About The Position

Moosehaven is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations and support a positive, consistent, and compliant employee experience. This role oversees one HR Assistant and works closely with leadership to manage recruiting, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee relations, training, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of HR management, supervisory, and HRIS experience OR 5 years of HR management, supervisory, and HRIS experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with iSolved or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the HR Assistant in recruiting, onboarding, and daily HR operations.
  • Oversee job postings, applicant communication, interviews, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new-hire follow-up to support retention.
  • Manage compliance and professional development training for staff and leadership.
  • Maintain and optimize the HRIS (iSolved), ensuring accurate configuration, reporting, and system integrity.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance documentation, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain HR records, and support payroll, timekeeping, and leave administration.
  • Participate in HR projects, process improvements, and campus initiatives.
