About The Position

In this role, you will partner with the Hopkinsville Leadership team as an on-site employee, supporting approximately 150 hourly manufacturing employees. You will be responsible for strategizing organizational development, talent management, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and HR special projects. You will serve as a trusted advisor and activator within talent management, organizational design, matrixed org partnership, and development needs. Additionally, you will effectively communicate and execute corporate initiatives, programs, and projects, working cohesively with all functional organizations to deliver expected results. You will also act as a change agent, implementing processes and approaches to prepare employees for ongoing change and transformation and improve organizational efficiency. Furthermore, you will serve as a strategy lead for process and HR data improvement initiatives, using HR data to identify areas for standardization and automation. You will also be a strategy lead and thought partner for organizational structure and alignment that promotes efficiency and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources
  • 5+ years of Human Resource experience with a strong focus on business partnering, coaching, progressive org development, employee relations, and operational HR excellence.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing/distribution center is required.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, agility, and resilience to thrive on change and competing priorities and timelines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to manage across functions at various levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • At least 2+ years of progressive HR generalist responsibility working with multiple functions
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and present data to a leadership audience
  • Consultative approach, strategic mindset
  • Customer focused, adaptable, has strong follow-up and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Experience fostering collaborative working relationships with business partners
  • Ability to plan, manage, and track projects, and to communicate with stakeholders
  • Resourceful with the ability to navigate the unknown, find solutions & execute beyond barriers
  • Professional demeanor, and strong business acumen
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous situations with little or no direction.

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced degree in Human Resource Management and a SHRM certification is a plus.

  • Experience working with Workday and ADP or similar HR systems – and comfort using data to drive actionable insights and recommendations on organizational design
