About The Position

The Human Resources internship will be located on-site in Louisville, Kentucky. This paid internship features structured, meaningful work and opportunities for professional growth. Interns will collaborate across the organization while gaining insight into how our business operates. They will assist with research, analysis, planning, documentation, reporting, and other responsibilities related to their area of study. Interns will attend team meetings and contribute ideas, updates, and solutions. They will build practical skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development. Interns will also network with other interns and participate in a collaborative Capstone Project. The internship offers the potential for full-time employment upon graduation, with 80% of interns receiving offers. It provides mentorship from experienced professionals in a dynamic and inclusive workplace, exposure to different areas of the business, and opportunities to build a professional network. Interns will collaborate with fellow interns on a Capstone Project that addresses a real business challenge and concludes with a presentation to company leaders in Hawesville, Kentucky. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a college diploma or university degree in Human Resources.
  • Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education.
  • A strong desire to learn, contribute, and grow in a professional environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to follow directions, manage priorities, and take initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities
