About The Position

As the HR Generalist, you will provide human resources support for Western Son Distillery. You will be a steward of the desired culture, providing knowledgeable and professional guidance, administering HR functions such as compliance with employment laws and regulations, policies and programs; maintenance of employment records, hiring and staffing; onboarding; data collection and analysis; accurate maintenance of HRIS systems; benefits, and training and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business, human resources or related field
  • 3 years relevant experience (minimum)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a fully onsite work schedule

Responsibilities

  • Provide human resources support for Western Son Distillery

  • Manage onboarding processes
  • Perform data collection and analysis

  • Continuously communicate and reinforce company culture
  • Monitor Team Member assessment of culture on a regular basis via Sazerac Culture Survey and limited use of Best Places to Work surveys
  • Achieve tangible results in improvement of culture scores based on survey feedback
  • Make ongoing efforts to improve products, services, or processes, evaluating them in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility
  • Develop an external talent pool and base
  • Develop LFE interviewing tools readily available to all
  • Enable hiring managers to identify and attract top talent
  • Ensure alignment around hiring and staffing process with all parties committed to move quickly to successfully close on hiring of top talent
  • Design and implement PDS system to include active PDS evaluation for each team member with regular feedback sessions between team member and manager
  • Establish overall grid rating for each team member
  • Implement a 360 degree feedback program
  • Identify the #1 Skill to be developed by each team member
