About The Position

This role supports the HR department in implementing programs to improve the associate experience. Key responsibilities include understanding HR best practices and regulations, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for open positions. The HR Generalist will work with the HR Manager to implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and programs, including leave of absence (FMLA/Short-Term Disability), performance management, coaching, development, and associate engagement. Additional duties involve assisting with communication boards, planning HR events, processing bi-weekly payroll, managing the time-keeping system, performing HRIS data entry, and responding to HR-related inquiries. Various other duties may be assigned by the HR Manager.

Requirements

  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Familiarity with leave of absence administration (FMLA/Short-Term Disability)
  • Experience with performance management, coaching, and development
  • Skills in associate engagement initiatives
  • Ability to manage communication boards
  • Experience in planning and coordinating events
  • Proficiency in processing payroll
  • Experience managing time-keeping systems
  • Experience with HRIS data entry
  • Ability to support HR programs
  • Strong communication skills for responding to inquiries

  • Plan and coordinate HR events
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Manage the time-keeping system for payroll
  • Perform HRIS data entry
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to improve the associate experience
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests
  • Perform other various duties as assigned by the HR Manager
