About The Position
N&S Supply, a HVAC, Plumbing, Heating, Kitchen & Bath distributor that spans the Hudson Valley and the Capital Region, is hiring a Part-Time Human Resources Generalist based in our Fishkill location. We are over 150 employees in 10 locations and are looking for the right person to provide day to day support across HR functions, such as employee onboarding, HR administration, benefits support, recruiting assistance, and documentation. This person will ensure employees have a positive HR experience while helping to maintain accurate records and compliant HR practices.
Requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
- Effective communication
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through
- Ability to work in a typical office environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with HRIS programs- preferably ADP Vantage
- HR experience in a generalist role (or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing with internal Shared Services
- Maintaining HRIS/HR Records
- Processing HR documentation
- Support recruitment efforts with job postings, resume screening, and background screenings
- Complete timely fulfillment of leave request supporting documentation
- Process regular reporting and audit tasks for payroll, benefits, and other HR functions
