About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for delivering comprehensive human resources support at the site level. This role manages day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with applicable labor laws. Serving as a primary point of contact for employees and leaders, the HR Generalist supports a positive employee experience while ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures. This role is well-suited for an HR professional who brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a positive mindset in supporting employees and partnering with leaders. Certain positions at EnerSys Advanced Systems require access to information or technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other U.S. government security regulations. Candidates for these positions should be a “U.S. Person” under ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a refugee/asylee) and/or otherwise comply with ITAR requirements for access rights to be considered for a position. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Systems-friendly with a strong interest in working with HRIS and business systems
  • Comfortable learning and navigating new software and technology tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be a “U.S. Person” under ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a refugee/asylee) and/or otherwise comply with ITAR requirements for access rights.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UKG and SAP software strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including resume screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding of new hires
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on company policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Coordinate and support employee training, development initiatives, and performance evaluation processes
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in accordance with company standards and legal requirements
  • Partner with site leadership and corporate HR to support workforce initiatives and employee engagement efforts
