Requirements

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and/or 3+ years proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive in the industrial contracting sector.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases, ADP preferred, not required.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Familiarity with industrial safety, workforce planning, and employment regulations specific to the construction or industrial sectors.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Ability to handle confidential information with care.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, answer high-volume calls, and direct inquiries.
Support recruiting activities: pre-employment testing, background checks, and new hire onboarding.
Maintain HR records, update employee data in HRIS systems (ADP, Procore, Bernie Portal), and prepare reports.
Help coordinate open enrollment, benefits administration, and HR events.
Assist with employee relations matters, safety compliance, and policy updates.
Manage administrative tasks like timekeeping, OSHA logs, labor law postings, and HR communications.
Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements.
