About The Position

Schaeffer Industries is seeking an HR Generalist / Recruiter to support recruiting and a broad range of human resources functions. The role focuses on attracting, hiring, and onboarding high-performing employees, while also handling HR strategies, systems, and procedures and helping achieve department objectives. Schaeffer Industries is a technology-driven steel pipe and tube manufacturer based in Lindon, Utah. Candidates must live in Utah or be willing to relocate. Aptitude and cognitive assessments are administered on-site.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully carrying out key HR duties.
• Background and traits suited to the HR Generalist / Recruiter role.
• Live in Utah or be willing to relocate to Utah.
• Complete aptitude and cognitive assessments on-site.

Responsibilities

• Find, hire, and onboard employees.
• Handle payroll, paid time off, insurance, and 401(k) retirement plans.
• Track and report time and attendance and enforce related internal policies.
• Ensure performance reviews are completed and associated documentation is processed.
• Resolve workplace conflicts and help maintain company culture.
• Enforce labor laws, company policies, and workplace safety.
• Track and record HR statistics and metrics.
