About The Position

The HR Data & Operations Coordinator is responsible for accurately processing and maintaining employee data and employment transactions throughout the employee lifecycle, including hiring, benefits, personnel changes, employee records, compliance-related documentation, and terminations. Under the general supervision of the HR Operations Manager, the HR Data & Operations Coordinator works closely with the HR Recruitment Team, HR Generalists, HR Partners, and campus partners to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all HR transactions. This role performs high-volume data entry and transaction processing across multiple HR systems and is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timely maintenance of employee records. The position takes a proactive approach to working with the entire HR team to ensure streamlined business processes are applied. The position is on-site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of recent Human Resources or customer service experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with computer and database platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups of all backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees and peers.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and ascertain the needs of customers.
  • Ability to communicate information concerning policies and procedures to customers.
  • Ability to respond to customers tactfully and courteously.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a Higher Education institution
