About The Position

Milpower Source in Belmont is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator who will provide critical support across HR operations while helping to drive efficiency through technology. The ideal candidate will possess advanced computer skills and hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, including ADP Workforce Now and Oracle HCM Cloud, using these tools to manage employee data, generate reports, support payroll and benefits, and maintain the highest standards of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of two years of experience supporting Human Resources functions preferred
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Advanced computer skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to work with data, reporting, and HR systems
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, specifically ADP Workforce Now and/or Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Working knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and employee records
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain employee HR records and files for hiring, terminations, paid time off, sick leave, disability, benefits, safety, unemployment, workers compensation, performance management, etc.
  • Support HR Manager with monthly reporting, including monthly headcount, monthly recruiting metrics, global training metrics, and safety incident tracker.
  • Update HR Analytics HR Hub monthly with new hire and termination data
  • Provide Payroll with weekly payroll backup documentation via OneDrive
  • Process new hires and terminations in ADP
  • Assist with new hire orientation and benefits rollout, complete necessary payroll backup data to be uploaded into OneDrive
  • Support all regulatory compliance efforts
  • Assist in recruiting, processing applicants, hiring, on-boarding and performance reviews – using ATS Comeet
  • Maintain and update applicant flow logs pertaining to Affirmative Action procedures
  • Schedule interviews and ensure background checks and drug tests are completed
  • Helps to maintain HR documents including job descriptions and other forms
  • Member of the Safety Committee, supports safety training and documentation
  • Assist in HR activities such as job fairs, visitor tours, company events and benefits open enrollment
  • Update associate roster and company directory with new hire and terminations, as needed
  • Support Sales team with QBR planning, including booking dinner locations, hotel reservations, and activity scheduling, as requested
  • Assist HR Manager with planning associate appreciation events
  • Submit Worker’s Compensation injuries in the absence of the HR Manager
  • Update associate bulletin board with health updates, monthly birthday and work anniversary, and create associate engagement through posted questions/activities
  • Assist with unemployment claims, employment verifications etc.
  • Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business, assist with signing into Envoy, and direct visitors to appropriate people
  • Coordinate and prepare for customer visits
  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing company calendars, composing, and preparing correspondence
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Order and stock office supplies as necessary and process purchase of such items
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Work with confidential employee information and maintain absolute privacy.
  • Perform human resource-related tasks to support Company initiatives.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
