About The Position

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented HR Coordinator to support a variety of administrative HR functions and processes. The selected candidate plays a key part in creating a positive experience for employees and job candidates while ensuring efficient day-to-day HR operations. This is a full-time, non-exempt position located onsite in North Logan, Utah.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-7 years of related experience supporting HR functions
  • Working knowledge of HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling/collaboration software
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for hiring committees, applicants, and visitors, creating a positive and professional impression of SDL and the HR Office
  • Manages the full cycle recruiting and staffing process to help ensure candidates and open positions move efficiently through the hiring process
  • Coordinates interview schedules, candidate communications, and new hire start dates with hiring managers
  • Supports employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of onboarding materials and administration of exit procedures
  • Assists HR team members with benefits administration, leave and absence management, tuition reimbursement processing, and responding to employee questions
  • Compiles and reports HR data and metrics
  • Updates and creates employee information and data within the HRIS
  • Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency
  • Supports a variety of miscellaneous HR projects and initiatives, including process improvements, policy updates, and special assignments as needed to meet organizational goals
