About The Position

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Part-Time HR Coordinator to support daily human resources operations across our 400-employee, 9-franchise automotive dealership group. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in developing broader HR skills over time. You will play a key role in creating a positive employee experience—from first impressions with new hires to ongoing support for our team members—while gaining exposure to recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations processes. This role is well-suited for someone who is looking to build a long-term career in HR.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process timekeeping edits and maintain accurate employee records
  • Scan, file, and organize HR documentation (digital and physical)
  • Screen incoming applicants and assist with interview coordination
  • Learn and support internal HR systems and applications
  • Welcome and onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
  • Educate employees on HR tools, benefits platforms, and required apps
  • Prepare and send employee communications such as birthday and sympathy cards
  • Serve as a warm, professional, and approachable point of contact for employees
  • Assist with additional HR and administrative tasks as needed
