About The Position

This position assists the Director of Human Resources in overseeing all personnel functions of the hospital and its managed units. Key responsibilities include assisting with the hiring process, posting positions, screening applications, scheduling and potentially conducting interviews, initiating and monitoring reference and background checks, and conducting primary source license verification when applicable. The role also involves completing data entry and filing, and performing other assigned duties while adhering to company policies, procedures, and the Corporate Compliance Program. The position is at Rivendell Behavioral Health Hospital, a 149-inpatient, Joint Commission accredited hospital located on a 48-acre private campus in Bowling Green, KY. Rivendell provides psychiatric care for children in crisis, teens with depression, anxiety, hopelessness or suicidal feelings, and teens and adults suffering from chemical dependency and substance abuse. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • preferably acute care/behavioral health hospital setting
