About The Position

Provides overall administrative support to the Human Resources Team. Primary responsibilities include new hire on-boarding and off-boarding, and ADP system maintenance.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a business office with Human Resources work experience or educational experience.
  • Requires strong administrative skills.
  • Must be focused on details and very organized.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees and other departments.
  • Ability to organize work in logical, structured format allowing flexibility when appropriate.
  • Ability to produce results in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in government contracting desirable.
  • Experience with an HRIS, ADP, and/or Costpoint a plus.
  • Knowledge and use of AI platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the full spectrum of onboarding and offboarding.
  • Perform various ADP administrative functions including ADP system onboarding, employee changes, separations, and reporting.
  • Maintain employee records in the various training platforms.
  • Daily maintain new hire, separation, and payroll trackers.
  • Respond to requests for verifications of employment and unemployment claim responses.
  • Assist with special projects when assigned, such as but not limited to, process tuition assistance requests, assist with employee engagement activities, and back-up for receptionist.
  • Provide quality care to all employees and vendors. Demonstrate a courteous, respectful, and helpful attitude in all interactions whether in person, via email, or telephone.
