As our HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting employees throughout their employment journey, from recruiting and onboarding to LOA administration, Payroll, and employee relations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least two years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations, benefits administration, and recruiting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid California driver's license and the ability to travel between company locations using a company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize HR/Payroll systems to maintain employee records and process HR transactions efficiently.
  • Assists with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Ensures accurate record-keeping and audits deductions.
  • Provide assistance to employees with HR-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication and a positive work environment.
  • Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommend corrective action.
  • Coordinate and manage the employee exit process, including conducting exit interviews, processing terminations, and ensuring all company property is returned.
  • Ensure that all termination procedures comply with legal and company policies.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Ensure timely onboarding of new hires, including paperwork, benefits enrollment, and introductions to key staff.
  • Monitor unemployment and leave of absence claims for legitimacy and process claims.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Owns the attendance points process. Escalate when needed.
  • Assists with the payroll process as needed.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Communicates various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
