About The Position

The HR Coordinator will provide detailed support to the Prescott campus and the HR team in order to ensure operations are running smoothly and efficiently at all times. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating meetings, performing routine follow-up activities, gathering and analyzing data from surveys and exit interviews, tracking event attendance/success, participating in morale-building activities for the department and University, keeping projects moving forward and on-time, completing research projects and making recommendations based on findings, assisting with training and development events, coordinating completion of and maintenance of position descriptions, and positively contributing to the overall reputation and success of a 30+ member HR team. The HR Coordinator will work effectively and professionally with all levels of the institution while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times. Must be adaptable to be able to change priorities at any given time based on the needs of the Executive Director, the HR Partner, and the Student Employment Specialist as they navigate faculty and staff support priorities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative aptitude
  • Excellent grasp of all MS Office suite particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing with ability to shift gears unexpectedly
  • Knowledge of basic HR concepts and employment laws
