About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR professional to provide administrative and operational support across payroll, HR systems, reporting, benefits coordination, and workforce initiatives within an industrial environment. This role will collaborate with HR leadership and internal stakeholders to support payroll administration, HRIS data management, reporting activities, onboarding coordination, and employee engagement initiatives in a unionized setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or comparable experience)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, preferably ADP
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting HR, payroll, or administrative functions
  • Exposure to payroll processing, benefits administration, or workforce reporting
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or unionized environments
  • Familiarity with labor agreements and compliance-related processes
  • Experience with automation or reporting tools such as Microsoft Copilot

Responsibilities

  • Support payroll processing activities utilizing ADP payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Prepare and review payroll-related data, including earnings, deductions, overtime, and adjustments
  • Assist with time and attendance administration, audits, and payroll reconciliation activities
  • Support compliance with applicable policies, labor agreements, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and update employee and HRIS records to support data accuracy
  • Assist with HR transactions such as onboarding documentation, pay rate updates, and employee status changes
  • Compile workforce, payroll, and operational reports for HR, Finance, leadership, and third-party requests
  • Maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, trackers, and reporting templates
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and onboarding logistics
  • Assist with onboarding documentation and orientation support
  • Maintain candidate and personnel records in accordance with company standards
  • Provide administrative support for benefits enrollment and related communications
  • Assist in responding to employee questions and routing inquiries appropriately
  • Support open enrollment and other benefits-related initiatives
  • Assist with HRIS enhancements, reporting improvements, and process optimization initiatives
  • Support workforce management and HR operational projects as needed
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams on assigned initiatives
