About The Position

This role involves supporting HR functions, including customer service, employee record management, policy administration, and general HR tasks. The position requires adherence to safety and EH&S policies, and may involve working in both office and manufacturing environments.

Requirements

  • Higher Education studies in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field of study.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to work unsupervised at times.
  • Ability to follow and understand instructions.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Effectively demonstrate good judgment.
  • Must be capable of accepting and exercising a high level of responsibility in keeping and maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
  • Basic computer competency and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Proof of US citizenship, nationality, and/or permanent resident status.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and adhere to all company and regulatory EH&S policies and procedures.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
  • Maintain employer log of absenteeism and communicate any disciplinary action due.
  • Assist with documentation preparation.
  • Support 6S activities, including standardization of files, document retention, and document maintenance in the HR area.
  • File documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assist or prepare correspondence as requested.
  • Prepare new employee files.
  • Assist with the administration and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain company bulletin boards, posting announcements, bids, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
