About The Position

This role will work in conjunction with the HR team as well as Service and Engineering Management. The role will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires for our growing service and engineering divisions. The ideal candidate for this role may have worked in an HR department with a strong focus on recruitment for service and engineering roles.

Requirements

  • 2- 3yrs recruitment experience is required
  • Strong and intuitive decision-making skills
  • Strong technology skills with HRIS, ATS and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-growing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field preferred
  • Experience in recruiting HVAC service technicians and engineers is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, screen, and scheduling of interviews for qualified Field Service Technicians and Engineers nationwide and in Canada
  • Post open jobs to appropriate job boards, company website, social media, technical programs, and research additional outlets to find qualified talent
  • Assist in developing and maintaining updated job descriptions
  • Administer onboarding process, process all necessary forms for all new hires and terminations and coordinate equipment
  • Set up background checks, drug testing, and extend employment offers
  • Maintain candidate data and onboarding in ATS/HRIS systems– Greenhouse and UKG
  • Support safety initiatives by creating and/or updating safety programs, training records, or other compliance documentation
  • Assist the team with workers' compensation claims and OSHA compliance
  • Perform other HR duties as necessary
