About The Position

SOSi is seeking an HR Administrator to be the heartbeat of an HR team that moves fast, cares deeply, and makes a real difference for every employee. This role will shape how new hires experience joining the company, champion programs that keep the team engaged and recognized, and serve as a trusted resource for employees. The ideal candidate will embrace smarter ways of working, including applying AI tools to streamline manual and repetitive HR administration tasks, allowing more energy to be focused on the human side of HR. This role is for someone organized, energized by variety, who loves making things happen, and is excited about working at the intersection of people and technology.

Requirements

  • Two+ years in an HR coordination or administrative role.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to automate routine tasks, synthesize information, and improve process efficiency.
  • Sharp attention to detail and sound, independent judgment.
  • Enthusiasm, drive, and energy for growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Absolute discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with HR or talent management platforms.
  • Background supporting government, defense, or large-scale service contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full recruiting administration, including posting and monitoring requisitions in the ATS, generating offer letters, and owning pre-employment documentation.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate drafting, tracking, and reporting across recruiting workflows.
  • Architect an onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success, guiding them through the SOSi SPARK program, leading orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance documentation (I-9, E-Verify) is completed.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and personnel files in HR systems, applying AI-driven auditing and data hygiene practices.
  • Manage the HR inbox, incoming mail, employment verifications, and unemployment claims using smart triage and templating tools.
  • Process purchasing requests.
  • Actively participate in HR-led employee communication efforts in SOSi Scope reports and oversee HR content on SOSi Connect.
  • Support the Total Rewards team through compensation actions, tracking performance dates, and creating job codes in UKG.
  • Assist with Defense Base Act claims administration.
  • Oversee various areas supporting Talent Development, such as the SOSi Education Reimbursement program.
  • Bring employee recognition programs to life, including the SOSi High Five Awards.
  • Coordinate global engagement initiatives defined in SOSi IGNITE.
  • Serve as a trusted HR professional for employees.
