About The Position

The HR Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the Human Resources department. This role will manage the onboarding and offboarding process from start to finish, ensure all employee documentation is completed and properly maintained within the HRIS system, and provide administrative support for various HR functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information professionally.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full onboarding process from start to finish for all new hires
  • Coordinate and track pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, MVRs, and onboarding documentation
  • Ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and prior to employee start dates
  • Enter and maintain employee information within the HRIS system
  • Assist employees with onboarding questions and system access
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and communication with managers
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel files, both electronic and physical
  • Ensure all employee documentation is properly uploaded and filed within the HRIS system
  • Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, pay changes, and departmental changes
  • Conduct regular audits of employee files and HRIS records for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information
  • Manage termination paperwork and offboarding processes
  • Ensure all required separation documentation is completed and filed appropriately
  • Coordinate final paperwork and system updates for terminated employees
  • Maintain accurate records related to employee separations
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR processes and paperwork
  • Support various HR projects and department initiatives as assigned
