About The Position

The HR Administrator serves as the front door to HR for employees and managers across the organization. As a primary point of contact, this role provides responsive, high-touch support and ensures each inquiry is handled with care, accuracy, and a strong customer-service mindset. The HR Administrator helps employees and managers navigate day-to-day HR questions, connects them with the right resources, and works to deliver a seamless, positive experience from first contact through resolution.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of employee handbook guidelines and Collective Bargaining Agreement Contracts.

  • Ability to provide training, guidance, and technical support.
  • Experience in digitalizing learning and development processes.
  • Experience facilitating and hosting new hire orientations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries within Workday Help ticketing system.
  • Triage, investigate, and resolve all employee inquiries within HR Operations service level agreement deadlines while providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as employee handbook related issues/questions and Onboarding/Offboarding and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Performs the administration of standard to complex processes and activities for all functional areas of HR (i.e., operations, performance management, learning management).
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides in support of process or system training for managers and fellow team members.
  • Provide employee support within the guidelines of IOA Employee Handbook and Collective Bargaining Agreement Contracts.
  • Review all employee changes for data accuracy and integrity.
  • Proactively audit employee records for configuration, pay, and compliance accuracy using the Workday HRIS system.
  • Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the employee data record in Workday.
  • I-9 verifications and renewals.
  • Vaccinations and license renewals.
  • Review all job changes and business process transactions for accurate processing.
  • Wage Theft letter generations.
  • Manage employee referral program and verify program requirements for payroll payment.
  • Office of Inspector General (OIG) Compliance Reporting.
  • Course completion and stats update.
  • Report analysis and metrics.
  • Troubleshooting learner technical issues.
  • Coordinate/facilitate live training sessions as needed and mark completions in Workday.
  • Manage and maintain the Workday Learning module.
  • Configuring Learning Campaigns.
  • Uploading course content and troubleshooting system issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Run learning reports and generate metrics such as course completions, participation rates, and compliance percentage, to provide actionable insights for leadership and support organizational goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Workday Learning module, providing training, guidance, and technical support to employees and managers to maximize system adoption and engagement.
  • Partner with department leadership to digitalize learning and development processes, ensuring streamlined operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate and host new hire orientations.

Benefits

  • Compensation Range: $75,000 - $78,000/annual
