About The Position

IOK (The Institute of Knowledge) is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Remote HR Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, contributing directly to our mission of fostering a finer future through high-quality Islamic educational programming. The successful candidate will be a highly organised individual, capable of handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality while supporting the day-to-day functions that help our organisation thrive. This role offers a competitive salary of $45 - $55 USD per hour.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR administrative or similar support role.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with HR software and systems (HRIS) would be an advantage.
  • A qualification in Human Resources or a related field is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in our HR information systems.
  • Assist with the entire recruitment cycle, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring a smooth integration into the organisation.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and reports.
  • Support the organisation and coordination of staff training and development events.
  • Handle general administrative duties, including managing correspondence, data entry, and scheduling meetings for the HR department.
