About The Position

The Housing Stabilization Coordinator provides direct administrative and programmatic support to individuals served within the Medical Respite program. The role includes complying with program policies and procedures, accurately completing required documentation, and helping individuals access items needed for daily living. The coordinator monitors the environment and uses de-escalation techniques to help maintain a safe and healthy setting. Working within a team-based service delivery model, the coordinator proactively seeks internal and external resources to meet individuals’ needs and performs other duties as assigned.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The employer seeks a compassionate, solutions-focused, organized team player with integrity, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage crises and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field, or a high school diploma and four years of experience related to social services, homelessness, disability services, or criminal justice.
• Good computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.
• Must pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct administrative and programmatic support to individuals served within the Medical Respite program.

• Monitor the environment and use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and healthy setting.
• Participate actively in a team-based model of service delivery.
• Proactively seek internal and external resources to meet the needs of individuals served.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
