About The Position

The Houseperson performs hotel housekeeping services to maintain clean public areas inside and outside the hotel according to established standards. The role assists guests by providing requested information and supports departments as needed to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel, including housekeeping, laundry, public areas, breakfast areas, meeting rooms, and maintenance. The Houseperson stocks public areas with supplies and sets up meeting rooms for events. The position provides courteous, friendly service by promptly and efficiently responding to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, and contributes to a positive work environment for the team and guests.

Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean public areas inside and outside the hotel according to established standards.
• Assist guests by providing information as requested.
• Support housekeeping, laundry, general public areas, the breakfast area, meeting rooms, and maintenance as needed to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Stock public areas with supplies.
• Set up meeting rooms for events.
• Provide courteous, friendly guest service by promptly and efficiently responding to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Contribute to a positive work environment for team members and guests.
